Preamble

This privacy policy describes how data is processed when you visit this site. Protecting your privacy is a priority: this site is designed to collect the bare minimum of data, with no tracking cookies and no resale to third parties.

Contact form

When you use the contact form, the following information is transmitted: name, email address, subject and message.

This data is routed by the service provider Formspree (Formspree Inc.), which acts as a processor. Formspree forwards the form content to contact@e-portfolio.fr without storing the content of your message. As this service may be located outside the European Union, the transfer is covered by the appropriate safeguards provided for by the GDPR (RGPD).

• Purpose: to process and respond to your request.
• Legal basis: your consent, given by voluntarily submitting the form.
• Retention period: the time necessary to handle the exchange, then deletion.

Audience measurement (traffic statistics)

To understand how the site is used (number of views per month, most visited pages, type of device used), anonymous audience measurement is carried out. No cookie is set and no directly identifying data is stored.

The following information is recorded:

• an anonymous session identifier (an irreversible fingerprint regenerated every day) — your IP address is never stored;
• the page visited;
• the domain of the referring site (without the full URL);
• the browser category (e.g. Chrome, Firefox);
• the device type (computer, tablet, mobile);
• the screen size category;
• the date and time of the visit.

This data is fully anonymized, remains the exclusive property of the publisher and is subject to no resale or disclosure to third parties. It does not allow you to be identified or tracked from one site to another.

• Purpose: audience measurement and site improvement.
• Legal basis: the publisher's legitimate interest (anonymous audience measurement, in line with the CNIL recommendations that exempt it from consent in the absence of a cross-site tracker).
• Retention period: 25 months maximum, then automatic deletion.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies. Only one local storage item (localStorage) named "theme" is used to remember your display preference (light or dark theme). It stays on your device, serves no tracking purpose and is not shared with anyone.

As there is no tracker requiring consent, no cookie banner is necessary.

Data hosting

Traffic statistics are stored via Neon (PostgreSQL database), on infrastructure located in Europe (Frankfurt, Germany — European Union). The site is hosted by Vercel (see the legal notice).

Your rights

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR/RGPD) and the French "Informatique et Libertés" Act (Data Protection Act), you have the following rights:

• the right of access to your data;
• the right to rectification;
• the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten");
• the right to object and to restrict processing;
• the right to data portability.

In particular, you may at any time request the deletion of data from the contact form by simply writing to contact@e-portfolio.fr.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL): cnil.fr.

Changes

This privacy policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site or to the regulations. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
